Joann Marie Helton, age 64 of Mannington, WV, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 10, 1952, in Marion County, WV, the daughter of the late Ray Joe Sturgeon and Grace Marie Williams Sturgeon.
She is survived by her daughter, Grace Marie Helton of Fairmont, WV and her son, Norman James Helton of Elkview (Charleston), WV; two grandchildren, Destiny Nichole Helton and Dakota James Helton; 12 siblings, Bessie Gump, Opal Price, Anna Thomas, Mike Sturgeon, Lee Sturgeon, Ray Joe Sturgeon, Richard Sturgeon, Raymond Sturgeon, William Sturgeon, Ralph Sturgeon, John Sturgeon and Gary Sturgeon; several nieces and nephews; and her companion Al Ferguson.
