JOHN CHARLES POLLACK, Jr., age 45, of Fairmont, died suddenly at his residence, Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born Nov. 24, 1972 at Fairmont, son of Greta Marie Witt Pollack of Rachel and the late John Charles Pollack, Sr.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by his wife, Nancy Turkovich Pollack, a sister, Cindy (Chuck) Garrison of Rachel; three brothers, Jon Haught in Germany, B.J. Haught of Katy, and Charles (Faith) Haught of Fairmont; two aunts, Charlene DeCarlo and Mary Ann Pollack, both of Avon, OH; five nieces and a nephew; and a friend, Michael Demo; two brothers-in-law, Michael Turkovich (and his daughter, Holly) and Matthew Turkovich, both of Shinnston; a good friend, Romano Rhoades; and “Baby”, his 14 year old kitty.
In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his son, John E. Pollack, with whom he will be buried; three uncles, Clarence Witt, Carl Witt, and Richard DeCarlo; a close friend, Ed Livingston; his grandparents, John and Millie Pollack and Frank and Ethel Witt.
John was very creative. He enjoyed reading, writing, and drawing, and loved music. He was a former employee of Whitehall Walmart for 18 years.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 1-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1pm with Pastor Dennis Howard officiating.
