John Edward Green II, age 63, of Hawks Nest, Mannington, WV passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at his residence. He was born October 20, 1957 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late John Edward Green and Joyce Laverne Collins Green.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary Jo Higgins Green; three children, Charles Luther Green of Clarksburg, Theresa Davis of Fairmont, and John Brandon Green of Clarksburg; a granddaughter who he was raising as one of his own, Vanessa Palmer; a step-daughter, Racheal (Joseph) Reynolds of Joetown, and a step-son, Rickie Palmer of Hawks Nest; three sisters, Josie Plyman of Fairmont, Susan (Jerome) Moorehead of Greensboro, NC, and Lisa (Jay) Deems of Shinnston; one brother, Allen Fluharty of Mannington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Fluharty; a nephew, James Deems; and a brother-in-law, Roger Plyman.
John loved riding 4-wheelers. He was retired from The Meridian Company. He was a “jack-of-all-trades”. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #9 in Fairmont and attended the Bingamon Church. He loved all of his family members.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 6-8:00pm. There will be no funeral services as cremation was chosen as the final method of disposition. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
