John Michael McKinney

John Michael McKinney, 52 of Fairmont, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013.  He was born August 27, 1960 in Fairmont, WV, son of the John Luther McKinney and Delilah May Sine McKinney Wilson.

He is survived by a daughter, Angela Rae Thurman and husband John of Washington; a stepson, Shawn Bingamon of Mannington; a granddaughter, Lyla Mae Thurman of Washington; a brother, Tim Wilson of Richmond, VA; three half-brothers, Joseph McKinney and wife Robyn, Tommy McKinney and Robert McKinney and wife Angie; one half-sister, Melissa Cutrone and husband Rudy; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

John was a United States Navy Veteran.  He enjoyed fishing and had a special fishing buddy, Trent Wilson.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St, Mannington, WV on Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 2 – 6:00 pm.  There will be no funeral home services.  Interment will be at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, WV on Monday, August 19, 2013 with full military rites accorded by the United States Navy and the Marion County Veterans Council at 12:00 p.m.  Anyone wishing to follow with the family to the cemetery is to gather in the funeral home parking lot at 10:45 a.m.  On-line condolences may be left at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com

Even though we were apart,we did have two pretty good kids. Shawn and Angela are going to miss you. She will always be Daddy's Little Girl!
