Joillette Vaughn Cross, age 80, of Mannington, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Pierpont Center Nursing Home. She was born May 9, 1937 at WV, a daughter of the late William Earl Snodgrass and Mary Augusta Michael Snodgrass.
She is survived by 4 children, Cynthia Kay Cross of Metz, Shirley Ann (Samuel David) Jones of Mannington, Theresa Louise (Randy) Price of Mannington, and David Lee (Linda) Cross of Clarksburg; 6 grandchildren, Ryan Cozart, Eric Jones, Joshua Price, Staci Vincent, Luke Price, and Lindsey Carpenter; 2 step-grandchildren, Ryan Carpenter and Kali Carpenter; 5 great-grandchildren, Austin Cozart, Ayden Egress, Mason Price, Robert Kimberly and Jacob Jones; one brother, Samuel M. (Rosemary) Snodgrass of Rymer; 2 sisters, Ethel Neff of Mannington, and Mary Jane (Rudy) Nerad of Wellington, OH; several nieces and nephews.
Joillette was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Lee Cross who died in 1992; a great-grandchild, Joseph Eric Jones; 2 sisters, Eileene Pride and Eleanor Williams; 3 brothers, Walter W. Snodgrass, Willbert (Eleanora) Snodgrass, and Claude Dell Snodgrass.
Joillette was a stay at home mother. She enjoyed playing Bingo, crafts and paintings, auctions and traveling.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00pm. There will be no funeral services at the conclusion of the visitation. I still can her aunt joy yelling kids names as we giggled going down tbe road to mom moms house..it brings a smile to me face..
