Joseph William Belch of Clarksburg and formerly of Idamay and Mannington passed away January 10, 2022 at United Hospital Center after a long hard battle with COPD, he was 78 years old. He was employed by S.M. Kisner and Sons, Scalise Industries and was a member of the United Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #33 for over 50 years.

He is survived by his spouse Jacqueline Belch of Clarksburg, a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ronnie Moorehead of Fairmont, a son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Gwen Belch of Fairmont, and a step-son, Michael and Amy Rogers of Fairmont, three grandchildren, Hailey and Aaron Richards, Brennan Moorehead and Emily Belch, a step-granddaughter, Nicole Rogers and one great-granddaughter, Emma Richards, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Leo of Mannington and Julie and Bill Watson of Mannington, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Our Dad was an avid Mountaineer fan who rarely missed a game. Prior to his illness he enjoyed to the mountains trout fishing, playing golf, attending car shows, and spending time with family and friends attending the Belch Family Reunions.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Pearl Belch (DeBolt) and Jim Belch of Mannington, and also his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Frances Spence of Clarksburg.

At the request of our Dad, there will be no visitation as cremation was his final wishes. There will be a graveside service at the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery with family and friends at a later date. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
