Kathy Ann Sloan, 52 of Joetown Community, Mannington, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born September 2, 1959 in Kansas, a daughter of Norma Guy Turpin of Texas.
She is survived by her husband Leroy J. Sloan of Joetown Community and one daughter Tonya Marie Sloan Masters of Fairmont. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Mercedes Erin and Montana Joseph Guarnera and Maddox Hunter Willard all of Fairmont; two brothers, Robert and Tommy Oliver both of Arizona and two sisters Lisa of Texas and Cindy Payne of Arizona. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Kathy was a very sociable person and enjoyed music very much. She enjoyed cooking.
Family and friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, West Virginia on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 5-7 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Interment will be made at the Wells Cemetery at Joetown .
