Kevin Lee King, 40, of Worthington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Conway, South Carolina. He was born February 23, 1973 in Fairmont, WV, son of Dorothy Louise Potts King of McCurdysville, WV and the late Alonzo Coy “Pete” King.
Kevin is survived by his wife of 17 years, Vicky Lee Foley King, Worthington, WV; 2 sons, Travis King and Kevin King, at home; 7 brothers and sisters, Mike Shannon and wife Lisa, Jerilyn Stratton and husband Eric, Tracey Corbin, Debra Bone, Carl King, Kelly Jones and husband Jake and J.R. King and wife Kristin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Karen Foley of Farmington; brother-in-law, John Allen Foley; sister-in-law, Karrie Eddy and fiancée David Searles; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kevin was well known and had many, many friends and co-workers. He was a truck driver all of his life and had worked for several companies over the years since March of 1996. He enjoyed riding his Harley and enjoyed camping with his family.
Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 2 - 8:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Jones officiating. When I was younger Mom and Aunt Dorothy did everything together. So we were very close to all her kids and her kids were close to us! I remember Kevin being very quiet but he was very sneaky!! He got by with a lot because he was so freaking cute!! Those were the days! I will miss you cousin and Im sorry your life was cut short! I love you, tell Uncle Pete and Mom I miss and love them too!
