Kimberly Powell Jarvis, age 62 of Fairmont, WV passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born November 18, 1963 in Fairmont, WV the daughter of the late Carl E. Powell and Leah Irene Powell.

She is survived by her daughter Leah Jarvis and Tyler Gorrell of Fairmont, her three grandchildren, Jonah Moyer, Sylas Moyer and Noah Gorrell, and a grandchild on the way. Kim is also survived by her sister Carla Powell of Grafton, several nieces and nephews, and her former husband Rick Jarvis of Mannington.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her son Rickey Jarvis who died in 2020, and her brother Brian Powell.

Kim enjoyed going camping, cooking and gardening but the love of her life was spending time with her grandchildren!

There will be no funeral home services as direct cremation has been chosen of the final method of disposition. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of Kim’s final arrangements. A memorial service will be held on August 8, 2026 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Grafton beginning at 1:00pm.  A meal will be provided afterwards for those in attendance.

I hadn't seen Kim in years ever since she was my neighbor when Ricky and Leah still lived with her in Webster she was sick then on oxygen I tried to help out as much as I could being a kid still in school i didnt know where she went after Ricky died and they moved otlut that house
