
Lana Pamela “Pam” Freeland, age 70 of Metz, WV passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Fitzwater’s Assisted Living. She was born April 15, 1950 in Fairmont, WV.
Pam is survived by one son, Jimmy Lemley and his wife Tonya; one grandson that she adored, Gavan Lemley; her step-daughter, Leanna (Denny) Efaw and granddaughter Aeriss Efaw; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Jerl “Cud” Freeland; her parents Winston and Maryanna Stafford Fluharty; and granddaughter Alexis Eddy.
As she always enjoyed her time with family, Pam also enjoyed riding horses. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Fitzwater’s Assisted Living for the wonderful care they gave Pam while she was with them.
Due to the Covid-19 situation and per the wishes of Pam, there will be no services as cremation was chosen as her final method of disposition. I am so sorry with your Mom’s passing. We went to school together grades 1-12. She was always very kind to me and I valued her as a good friend! She was beautiful and I am so sorry for her years of suffering with Parkinson’s. God Bless you all. I pray she is now healthy and at peace with her Father in Heaven

So sorry to hear of Pam's passing. Pam and I were in school together from first grade until we graduated. My thoughts are with you and your family.
I worked with Pam at magistrate court many years ago. She treated me like a little sister and gave me good advice. I admired her greatly. She had such a contagious smile. Many prayers to you family for comfort.
