Larry William Johnson Jr., age 53 of Mannington, WV passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born December 8, 1972 in Morgantown, WV the son of Larry Johnson Sr., and Donna Cravener Johnson of Mannington. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles. Larry attended Clay Battelle High School in Blacksville and had worked for Bob Pennington and Doug Darrah working on mine equipment. He attended the Waynesburg Church of God of Prophecy in Waynesburg, PA and the Church of God of Prophecy in Metz, WV. Larry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting his guns, and woodworking. There will be no funeral home services as direct cremation has been chosen of the final method of disposition. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of Larry’s final arrangements.
