Lillian Laura Ice, 98 of Mannington passed away, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born March 7, 1914 in Wetzel County, WV a daughter of the late Minnie Williams. Mrs. Ice was raised by her grandmother, the late Carolyn Syhoc.
She is survived by four nieces, Wilma Susie Rice Gonzalez and husband Mitchell of New Martinsville, WV, Virgie Kuhns of Pittsburgh, PA, Wilma Wilson of Mannington, and Mary Gail Watson of Hundred, WV; nephews, Herbert Rice of Kodol, WV, Jack Rice of Weirton, WV, Jerald Rice of Hundred, WV, Paul Rice and Jerry Rice both of New Martinsville, WV and Oscar Rice of Wileyville, WV; great-nephew, Raymond Teagarden and wife Vickie of Evans Run, Mannington, WV; great-nieces, Michelle and Christina Gonzalez; great-great-nephews, Criss and Raymond Lee Teagarden, and great-great-niece, Michele Teagarden. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Alice Anderson "Bunny" Brummage of Mannington, WV and Susie Riggs of Mannington, WV.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Ice on November 8, 1987; three sisters, Edith Blake, Goldie Rice and Cora Williams; two nephews, Mickey and Roger Rice; three nieces, Carrie and Allison Rice and Betty Teagarden, and one stepchild, Yvonne Musick.
Mrs. Ice was a Homemaker. She attended the Rymer United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Harry Holbert officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
