Loretta Gail Gump, age 70, of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1947 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Allen Floyd and Kathleen Brock Floyd.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bud” Gump with whom she was married to for 38 years. Also surviving is a daughter, Dawn Elizabeth Efaw of Winchester, VA; a granddaughter, Brianna Efaw and husband Teddy Brooks of Morgantown, WV; several “children”, “grandchildren”, and “great-grandchildren”; 2 sisters, Diane and James McNeil of Fairmont, WV, and Carla and Edward Petrakian of Columbia, NJ; 2 brothers, Gene and Linda Floyd of Worthington, and Edwin Floyd of Fairmont; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Janet Floyd.

Loretta was a homemaker and a loving caregiver to several of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, gardening and canning, and tinkering around the farm with her husband. She also enjoyed her Sunday morning “dates” with Bub.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 4-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11:00am. Interment will be at the Gump Cemetery at Dunkard Mill, Farmington. Uncle Bud, Dawn and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Lorretta's passing. I know your hearts are breaking. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. She will be missed by many.
