Loretta Iolene Cain Orr, homemaker, mother, and grandmother extraordinaire, left this earth in Tyler, TX for her heavenly home on Thursday, September 26, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88.
Loretta was born in Liverpool, West Virginia on January 19, 1931 and was raised and educated in Mannington, where her family still owns their original farm.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Orr Thompson, son Dane Allen Orr, grandchildren Morgan Dulin, Katelyn Orr, and Kristen Orr. She was preceded in death by her parents Harley Sherman Cain and Olive Elizabeth Ullom Cain, her daughter Arlene Orr Dulin, and husband Arnold Eugene Orr.
Loretta was most passionate about her family and loved to research her family’s genealogy, to garden, and to travel.
Family and friends may attend the funeral services which will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Roger Cain officiating.
