Lynn Ann Haught Matheny, age 56 of Mannington, WV passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born January 27, 1967 in Ranson, WV, a daughter of David Roy Haught and Cathy Lynn Bryan Haught. She is survived by her sister Amanda Rae Kolb and husband Benjamin of Mannington. She was preceded in death by her husband Doug Matheny who died in May 3, 2001. Lynn was a North Marion High School Graduate Class of 1985 and as a Protestant by Faith. She had worked at various different places of employment. A visitation will be held at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 12-2:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 1:45 pm with Pastor Tom Horne officiating. Cremation has been chosen as the final method of disposition.

Lynn Ann was my cousin, once removed. Although I never had an opportunity to meet her personally, I heard a lot about what a sweet person she was, and I always wished I could meet her. I will one day.
My prayers are with her family, my relatives, who I know are grieving her passing.
