Mary Ann Toothman

Mary Ann Toothman, age 82 of Mannington, WV passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at her residence. She was born January 20, 1943 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late John William Snodgrass and Esther Louise Summers Snodgrass.

She is survived by three children, Allan (Robin) Toothman of Waverly, VA, Judy (Doug) Myers of Farmington, and Chris Toothman of Williamsburg, VA, seven grandchildren, Robert Toothman, Savanah Anderson, Benjamin Toothman, Kristal Efaw, Cynthia Sponaugle, Shawn Toothman and Matthew Franz, and 6 great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Joe Toothman, two sons, Greg Toothman and Rusty Toothman, and all of her brothers and sisters as she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mary worked as a Nursing Assistant CNA as well as at the Bucket Factory in Idamay. She enjoyed quilting, playing Bingo, spending time with her dog “Daisy” and she had quite the collection of Elvis memorabilia.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Craig Matheny officiating. Interment will follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Farmington.
