Mary Jane Rogers, age 69, of Mannington, WV passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1946 at Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter of the late James Vernon Rogers and Jane Issacs Rogers.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Lora Lynn Parrish of Mannington, and Lisa Ann Fluharty of Virginia; 3 grandchildren, Chandy Fluharty, Melissa Hixenbaugh and Staycee Fluharty; 4 great-grandchildren, McKala Phillips, Elizabeth Kay Hixenbaugh, Kenadee Clair Teagarden and Skyler Jones; 2 sisters, Betty Sue Gregg of Ohio and Margie Hall of Richmond, Indiana; one brother, Bill Rogers of Richmond, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Larry William Parrish; a daughter, Crystal Hixenbaugh; a brother, James Rogers; and a sister, Billie Rogers.
Mary was a member of the Mannington Church of the Nazarene where she sang in the choir and was a greeter. She loved watching TV and walking and enjoying her grandbabies. She was a homemaker.
The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for their care of Mary during her illness.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 1pm with Pastor James Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the Mannington Cemetery.
