Michael David McVicker, 61, of Lumberport, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1960 to Daniel Nathan McVicker and Lois Virginia Evans.

In addition to his Mother and Father, Michael is survived by his Wife Lynda McVicker, by his sons Michael McVicker of Baltimore, MD, Nathan McVicker and his Wife Erin of Fairmont WV, and by his daughter Tiffany McVicker of Aberdeen, MD, by 10 grandchildren; Michael Ray McVicker and his wife Ashley of Jacksonville, NC, Mark McVicker of Baltimore, MD, Jessica McVicker of Fairmont, WV, Caleb McVicker of Elkins, WV, David Humphrey of Elkins WV, Quinn McVicker; Clark McVicker, of Fairmont, WV, Josiah Bell of Aberdeen, MD, Isis Broussard of Aberdeen MD, and Anniah Broussard of Aberdeen MD. He is also survived by 1 great grandson Brancyn Ray McVicker of Jacksonville, NC.

Michael went to school at Howard County School in Maryland. He started working carpentry at an early age and was a master carpenter. He owned several construction companies and businesses over the years, building anything from a house from the ground up, to entire housing developments, to pouring steps and installing seats at NFL and college football stadiums. These include M & T Bank Ravens Stadium, Pittsburgh's Heinz Field, Gillette Field Patriots Stadium, Eagles Lincoln Financial Field, and Paul Brown Stadium, among others. It was known to all who worked with him that he was a hard worker. Even up to his death he could outwork those a third his age.

He loved to fish, he loved the ocean, and he was a WVU Mountaineers fan and a Washington Redskins fan. He loved God, his country, and his family.

Cremation, per Michael's request, will be honored. A memorial service will be set at a later date. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements. Online condolences can be made to www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com or the funeral home facebook page.
