Michael Dustin “Mike” Gump, age 38 of Mannington, WV passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He was born July 14, 1986 in Fairmont, WV, the son of Edward Lee Gump and Doris June Price Gump of Mannington.
In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by two brothers, Edward Lee Gump Jr. and wife Mary Beth of Worthington and nephew Bear Gump of Worthington, and David John Gump and wife Teresa of Farmington and nephews Issac and Lily Gump of Farmington. He is also survived by several cousins and extended family.
Mike was a 2004 graduate of North Marion High School and held various jobs in construction, auto mechanics and masonry. He truly was a “jack-of-all-trades”! He also loved going fishing and hunting. Mike never knew a stranger, had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold as he would help anyone who needed help!
There will be no funeral services as cremation has been chosen as the final method of disposition. There will be a memorial service at a later date in Michael’s honor and will be held at his home. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
