Norma Kay Brewer, age 80 of Mannington, WV passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after an extended illness. She was born February 16, 1944 in Pittsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Paul Bryon Stewart and Ida Mae Newbrough Stewart.
Norma is survived by her husband of sixty years, Henry Brewer Sr of Mannington, daughter Vernita (Todd) Ronk of Carrollton, VA, sons Henry Brewer Jr of Wadestown and Terry (Sandy) Brewer of Fairview, five grandchildren, Joshua Ronk, Richmond, VA, Haleigh (Justin) Tennant of Fairview, Lindsey (Austin) Bland of Idamay, Amber Brewer of Fairmont ,Hanna Brewer of Fairmont, and six great-grandchildren, Avery Tennant, Audrey Tennant, Finley Bland, Everleigh Bland, Kinsly Bland and Seeley Bland.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Cole Brewer.
Norma was a homemaker who was an avid collector of bells and teapots. She loved her grandkids immensely as well as her dog Gracie.
Visitation will be held at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 E Main Street, Mannington, on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 3-7 pm. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:15 am on Friday, June 14, 2024 for a graveside service beginning at 11:00 am at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont with Pastor Doug Cyphers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes or Kidney Foundations.
I am so sorry to hear Norma passed away. She had a great sense of humor.
