Pansy Mabel Williams, age 92 of Farmington, WV passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at her residence. She was born November 4, 1927 in Marion Co., WV, the daughter of the late Ralph Vance Sturgeon and Cindy Pearl Mike Sturgeon.
She is survived by one son, Roy Vance Sturgeon and wife Athena Mae of Farmington; 4 grandchildren, Roy Vance Sturgeon Jr., Laurinda McCoy, Pearl Sturgeon, and Donna Barker; two great-grandchildren, Angela Hoskins and Robert Smith; three great-great-grandchildren, Michael Barker, Donaven Hoskins, and Aubrey Hoskins; one sister, Georgia Belt; one brother, Tommy Sturgeon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pansy was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Edward Williams who died June 7, 1957; 4 sisters, Ruby Anderson, Edna Belle Miller, Alice Neer and Emma Rebolt; 5 brothers, Ray Joe and Gay Sturgeon (twins), Richard Gene Sturgeon, James Sturgeon and Lee Roy Sturgeon.
Pansy was a homemaker and had helped with cleaning people’s homes for many years. She enjoyed cooking and loved to yodel. She was good mother, grandmother and sister.
There will be no immediate visitation or funeral services as cremation was chosen as the final method of disposition. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of her final arrangements.
