
Patricia Colleen Snider Watson, age 80, of Pine Grove, WV passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the home of her nephew. She was born September 3, 1941 in Dents Run, Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Ray Snider and Ethel Dodd Snider.
Patricia is survived by her husband John R. Watson of Pine Grove; three children, John (Susan) Watson, Jr of Fairmont, Cindy Payton of Toronto, OH, and Gary (Julie) Watson of Pine Grove; her brother, James (Ethel) Snider of Lumberport; 9 grandchildren, Megan (Guy) Blancato of Ohio, John (Sierra) Watson III, Carol McDougal, Matt (Nina) Watson, Kenny (Mary) Watson, Josh Watson, Zack Watson, Missy Carmen and Sara Moore, all of WV; 20 great-grandchildren, Allytheia, Dominic, and Derrek of Ohio, Jason, Emily, Destiny, Eddie, Memphis, Mackenzie, Nevaeh, Mariah, Colton, Olivia, Grace, Jordan, Henley, Dalton, Shayna, Derek, and Sophia all of WV; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Willard and Ethel Watson; her son-in-law, Mike Payton; her daughter-in-law, Becky Watson; a brother Don Snider; 5 sisters, Betty Spears, Jacqueline Spencer, Wanda Headley, Garnet Parrish and Judy Hayes; 7 brothers-in-law, Jack Spears, Blaine Spencer, Dean Hayes, Robert, Kenneth, William and James Watson; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Hatcher.
Patricia was a graduate of Mannington High School. She married her husband John on September 19, 1959. They were married for 62 years. She was a Baptist by Faith. She was a home maker and loved her family and the Lord very much.
The family will receive friends at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. in Mannington, WV on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 4-6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 1:00pm with Pastor Larry Watson officiating. Burial will follow at the Greene Cemetery at Dents Run, Mannington.
