Patricia Lou Matheny, 84, of Wyatt, passed away on November 4, 2026 in her sleep. She was born April 16, 1942 at Hilltop Camp, WV, the daughter of the late John Elza and late Grace Heldreth.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Tammy Lucas of Odell’s Knob, Kimberly Daft of Farmington and Gracie Matheny of Fairmont, Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her children, Lou Ann Marshall, James Leslie Lucas, John Jeffery Lucas and Michelle Dawn Lucas, grandchildren, Leslie Marie Lucas, Tim Shaw and one great-grandchild.
Patricia loved taking care of her grandchildren, loved the Good Lord’s word and opened her home to many. She will be remembered for her good home cooking and her unapologetic approach to life.
