Philip Arden Waggoner, age 68 of Temple, Texas and formerly of Metz, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at his sister’s residence. He was born August 26, 1958 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, a son of the late Richard Keith Waggoner and Patricia Ann Ferguson.

He is survived by three sisters, Carolyn (Jeff) Whiteaker of Belton, TX, Pamela (Tom) Wolverton of Metz, WV, and Cheryl (Bob) Zorko of Metz, WV, two nephews, Richard Waggoner and Randy Haught, both of Belton, TX, and two nieces, Bobbie Jo Zorko and Billie Jo Zorko, both of Beaver Falls, PA.

In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arden and Madelyn Snyder, and his paternal grandparents, Philip and Nora Waggoner.

Philip was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy and worked as a forklift operator with Western Auto. He loved playing music having been in a band and drinking a Budweiser.

There will be no funeral home services as cremation has been chosen as the final method of disposition. Philips cremains will be inurned at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
