Ralph Junior Stewart, age 67 of Fairmont, WV passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at his son’s residence in Grantown. He was born February 27, 1956 in Wadestown, WV a son of the late James Barney Stewart and Edna Morris Stewart.

He is survived by his two children, Bobbi (John) Odell of Fairmont and Jeremy (Aprial) Stewart of Grantown, 5 grandchildren, Destiny Helton, Dakota Helton, Britney Summers, Savannah Stewart and significant other Noah Martin, and Cheyenne Stewart and significant other Triton Tennant and 6 great-grandchildren, Layla Anderson, Kayla Anderson, Paisley Sue Anderson, Aubriella Helton, Brenden Hicks and Maiya Rose Summers. Ralph is also survived by his sister Kathy (Ralph) Wright of Wadestown and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Sue Stewart who died June 19, 2021.

Ralph worked as an ASC Certified Mechanic at James Chevrolet and also for Top Brand Builders. He loved woodworking, fishing, riding motorcycles and hauling scrap metal and was known by his nickname “Pack Rat Pap”. Ralph attended the Mt. Zion Community church in Grantown.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 2-4:00pm and 6-8:00pm and on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9:30-11:00am at the Mt. Zion Community church in Grantown with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Bill and Susie Rager officiating. Interment will follow at the Wadestown Cemetery.

Ralph was a wonderful addition to our church and also a loving friend to our family. Ralph always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. His sweet and gentle personality will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
