Raymond Clair Teagarden, age 65 of Evans Run, Mannington, WV passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born April 9, 1955 at Earnshaw, WV a son of the late Delbert and Betty Rice Teagarden.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia “Vickie” Little Teagarden of Mannington; three children, Christopher Teagarden of Mannington, Michele (Kyle) Simons of Morgantown, and Patricia (Noah) Jenkins of Mannington; 10 granddaughters and two great-grandsons; one brother, Delbert Conley and girlfriend Becky Higginbotham of Rymer; several nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Little of Smithfield, WV.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Lee Teagarden; a granddaughter, Loretta Rae Teagarden; three sisters, Rita Powell, Loretta Hibbs and Ethel Teagarden; and one brother and three sisters who died in infancy.
Raymond worked for Viking Glass in New Martinsville and for Paul Hawkins Sawmill in Bingamon. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved his little dog “Chi-Chi”. He loved the outdoors and working in the garden and farming.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 11:00am to 2:00pm with a funeral service beginning 2:00pm. Cremation was chose as the final method of disposition. As we continue to recognize attending services during the Covid-19 situation may not be in the best interest for some, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
