Richard Allen Ashcraft, 68, of Mannington, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center in Fairmont. He was born May 22, 1950 at Wyatt, a son of the late Ray C. Ashcraft and E. Eileen Ashcraft.
Richard is survived by his brothers, James A. (Helen) Ashcraft of Wilsonburg, WV, David Ashcraft of Bristol, Ohio and his sister, Carol (Roger) Higgins of Whetstone, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and his special girl, Becky Hibbs, that he loved as a daughter.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sue Ashcraft.
Richard was a handyman by trade and was one of the Mannington “fixtures”. He was a friend to all in the town. He attended the First Baptist Church in Mannington.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St, Mannington, WV from 2-7:30 pm with funeral services beginning at 7:30 with Pastor Greg Roth officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home parking lot at 9:00 am on Tuesday morning, April 23, 2019 to travel to the Elizabeth Mason Memorial Cemetery in Joetown for graveside services at 9:30 am.
