Rickey Leon Gump, 53 of Smithfield, WV passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born March 25, 1957 at Elyria, Ohio a son of the late Ervin Ray and Wanda Lou Ensminger Gump.
He is survived by 4 brothers, Willard “Rusty” Gump and wife Debbie of Anchorage, Alaska, Robert Alan Gump of Smithfield, WV, Ervin Ray Gump, Jr. of Smithfield and Jeffrey Todd Gump and wife Katty of Smithfield, WV; fiancée, Connie Robinson of Smithfield, WV; 3 step-children, Candy Higginbotham and husband Robert of Carolina, WV, Joseph Baker and wife Pam of Mannington, WV and Jacqueline Campbell of Fairmont, WV; 7 step-grandchildren, Christopher Eads, JD Baker, Shania Campbell, Daniel Zajac, Maxwell Campbell, Shayanna Carpenter and Zina Carpenter; also surviving are several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rickey enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and having outdoor barbeques.
Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Monday, February 21, 2011 from 6-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Evangelist Everett Shreve, D.D.
