Robert Lynn “Bob” Hearn, age 75 of Mannington, WV who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 23, 2024 at his residence. He was born February 29, 1948 in Shinnston, WV a son of the late Clarence Monroe Hearn and Virginia Lee Anderson Hearn.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Phyllis Jean Rohanna Hearn, his daughter Brigitte Amanda (Jason) Lynch of Mannington, his son Chance (Ashley) Hearn of Mannington, and his five grandchildren, Autumn Emberly Lynch, Noah Jason Lynch, Addisyn Elizabeth Hearn, Mason Jacob River Hearn, and Rory Jack Hudson Hearn. Bob is also survived by two brothers, Jimmy Hearn of Logan, UT and Clarence “Jr.” (Linda) Hearn of Columbia, SC, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Dennison and Sandra Wimer.

Bob graduated from Monongah High School Class of 1966 and then from Fairmont State University Class of 1970 with a degree in Business Administration. He was member of the Mannington Elks Lodge and the Mannington Moose Lodge. He was a Christian by Faith and a strong, firm believer in Jesus Christ! Bob was self-employed and a “handy-man” who enjoyed mowing grass and shoveling snow for many around the community. He was a friend to many but his grandchildren were his whole life!

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 2-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 2, 2024 beginning at 11:00am with Tom Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Bob’s memory to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, North Marion Athletics or Mannington Middle School Athletics.

Bob was a good man and always had a joke to make you laugh. He did a lot of work for Mark and me, when remodeling our home. I'm so very sorry for your loss and may God give you peace and comfort.

Bob was a faithful follower of athletics throughout his family’s endeavors. He was a great supporter throughout and his pride showed with a big smile. He was always proud of the team, and expressed his appreciation to everyone. He was a great supporter and will be missed by many. Prayers for his family.
