Robert Wesley Higginbotham, 69 of Deep Valley, Mannington, WV passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born March 26, 1941 in Mannington, WV, a son of the late John Wesley and Inez Goldie Riggs Floyd.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Ann Fluharty and husband Ricky of Farmington, WV; his son, James Robert Higginbotham and wife Candy of Carolina, WV. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Shirley Baker and her husband Marion of Deep Valley (Mannington) and Sara Phillips of Mannington; several nieces and nephews, and a special niece, Tammy Barker.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his second wife, Mary Ellen Higginbotham; 2 sisters, Carolyn Efaw and Dorothy Higginbotham, and one daughter, Tammy Higginbotham.
Robert enjoyed collecting clocks and telephones.
Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 4:30 - 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Evangelist Michael P. Reese officiating. Interment will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
