Robert “Bob” William Stevens, 74 of Mannington, WV passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1936 in Morgantown, WV a son of the late Paul Stevens and Agnes Gertrude Talbott.
Bob is survived by a brother, Paul Stevens of Ormond Beach, Florida; a nephew, Cameron Bishoff Stevens of Marietta, Georgia and a niece, Melody Morrow and husband Michael of Frederick, Maryland.
Bob was a United States Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam era, having been stationed in Greece and Libya. He was a graduate of Fairmont Senior, class of 1953, where he was the anchor man of the relay state championship team in track. He attended Potamic State and was employed as a lifeguard at the Greenbriar Resort during his college days.
