Roger William Efaw, 62 of Mannington, WV, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born February 4, 1950 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Elmer Efaw and Anna Dale Toothman Short.
Roger is survived by his 5 children, Lori Efaw and fiancée Tom Thomas of Rachel, Monica Efaw of New Jersey, Tiffany Efaw of New Jersey, Sherry McCloskey and husband Bobby of New Jersey and Melissa McCloskey of New Jersey; grandchildren, Amber Efaw, Brooke Vanzyl, Ryan Childs and 6 others; one great-grandson, Victor Rizzo; two brothers, Robert Efaw and wife Joyce of Mods Run and Gary Lee Efaw Sr. and wife Barbara of Hundred; one sister, Louise Parker and husband Denzil of Plum Run; his companion, Nancy Menefee of Mannington; several nieces and nephews.
Roger owned and operated Roger Efaw’s Lawn Service. He also worked for 13 years at Conway, 3 years at America Skylight and 10 years as a security guard for BankOne in Clarksburg. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler, playing cards and camping.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or the funeral home at the request of the family.
Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV, on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 12-1 P.M.
