Ronald “Tinny” Golden Eddy Sr., age 65 of Black Bear Run, Mannington, WV passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his home. He was born December 21, 1956 at Hawks Nest in Mannington, a son of the late Edward and Martha Eddy.
Tinny is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pamela Eddy; one daughter Brandy (Jerry) Barnett of Black Bear Run, Mannington; three sons, Ronald (Beatrice) O’Dell Jr. of Black Bear Run, Mannington, Josh (Sally) O’Dell of Wyatt, and Christopher (Kimberly) O’Dell of Wallace; 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Savannah and Sarah O’Dell, Ashley, Erica and Jacob O’Dell, RJ, CJ and Alyssa O’Dell and Camron, Marissa and Makenna Richter; three sisters, Carolyn, Ruth and Virginia Eddy, all of Hawks Nest; one brother, Oliver Eddy of Tiffin, OH; three close nephews, Jason, Travis and Kevin Eddy; a close niece, Jessica Eddy; a close cousin, Jimmy Martin; his close friends, Shawn Ash, Scotty “Red” Jones, Bobby Richter, Dave Parson, Johnny Stout, Donald Anderson, Timmy O’Dell and JD Martin; and his beloved dog Hershey.
In addition to his parents, Tinny was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Eddy; five brothers, Argle, Richard, William, Max and Herbert Lee Eddy; and his nephew Timothy Eddy.
Tinny enjoyed collecting knives, guns, cars as well as spending time working on cars. He also loved having cookouts with his family!
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 3-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in the funeral home beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Elizabeth Mason Cemetery in Joetown.
