Sandra Sue “Sandy” Merriman, 63 of Fairmont, WV passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Pierpont Center at Fairmont Campus.  She was born November 12, 1947 at Flaggy Meadow, Mannington, WV a daughter of the late Frank and Pauline Baker Merriman.

She is survived by two children, Frank Lee Wright of Morgantown, WV and Lora Diane Mundel and husband Donnie of Ministers Run; four grandchildren, Frankie, Mariah, Kayla and Tyler; two sisters, Carolyn Hillberry and husband Albert of Idamay, WV and Kathleen Merriman of Fairmont, WV; one brother, Roger Merriman and wife Fonda of Rivesville, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Sandy grew up at Flaggy Meadow, Mannington, WV.  She was baptized at the United Brethren Church at Flaggy Meadow.  She recently resided at the Unity Terrace Apartments in Fairmont, WV.  She enjoyed fishing and watching television.  She loved animals and enjoyed living in her apartment.

Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 1- 9 P.M.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Plum officiating.  Burial fill follow at the Hamilton Cemetery at Flaggy Meadow, Mannington, WV.  Online condolences may be left for the family at mastersfuneralhomewv.com.
