Sara Frances Zemonick, 44, of Mannington, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1977 in Fairmont, a daughter of Dorothy Masters Smith of Mannington and the late James Eddie Smith.
In addition to her mother, Sara is survived by her husband, John Zemonick, her daughter Alexandria Zemonick of Morgantown, her siblings Deborah (Kelly) Knight, Elizabeth Knight, Kimberly Shearer, Daniel (Missi) Smith, Grace Smith and Eva Smith, nieces and nephews Thomas “TJ” Knight, Stephanie (Justin) Waddell, Amanda Knight, Bruce (Misty) Knight, Virginia (Shelby) Shearer, Joseph (Sierra) Shearer, Melanie (David) Hughes, Marissa (Kyle) Smith, Dorothea (Julie) Smith, Patricia Smith and several great-nieces and great-nephews and two great-great-nieces.
In addition to her father, Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents, her brother James (Junior) Smith, her nephew Scott Knight and her niece Charity Shearer.
Sara attended North Marion High School, graduating in the Class of 1996. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening, flowers, camping and doing anything outdoors and she loved her dog “Bella”.

My prayers and condolences as I just learned of Sara's passing. I was two years behind in school and Sara was good too me never allowed anyone to pick on/bully me; which frequently happened. RIP sweet lady.
