Sarah Caroline Burcham, age 93 of Lenoir City, TN and formerly of Mannington, WV passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Deane Hill Center Memory Care Unit. She was born September 7, 1927 in Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Amos E. “Pete” and Ora Catherine King Toothman. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lynn Phillips Burcham and her husband Kevin of Lenoir City, TN; grandchildren, Brent (Beth) Burcham of Fort Mill, SC, Brandi (Patrick) Hogan of Wayne, PA, Tabitha (Kevin) Maser of Temecula, CA, Josh (Laura) Richards of Chandler, AZ, Brad Burcham of Lenoir City, TN, and Ryan Burcham of Chattanooga, TN; and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles E. Phillips, and then her second husband, Joseph H. Burcham. Sarah was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to work in her garden. She was a Mannington High School graduate. Sarah enjoyed living the “simple life”. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sarah’s name to the Alzheimer’s organization of your choosing. Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 12-1:00pm with interment immediately following at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery. As we continue to recognize attending any services during the Covid-19 situation may not be in the best interest for some, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
