
Shirley Ann Toothman, age 83, of Plum Run, Mannington, WV passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home at Monongah. She was born May 21, 1937 in Boothesville, WV, a daughter of the late Owen Worth Stevens and Ethel Triplett Stevens.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Dolan Toothman with whom she was married to for 59 years; two children, Mistie (Tom) Myers of Mannington, and Rod “Patti” Toothman of Elkins; three grandchildren, Tyler Toothman, Seneca Toothman, and Maverick Myers; two great-grandchildren, Titan Myers and Annalynn Haught; one sister, Clara Mae Smell; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Stevens; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by three brothers, Junior Stevens, Bob Stevens, and George “Bud” Stevens.
Shirley was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed yard work, gardening as well as cleaning her house. She was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and an avid bowler.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 11am - 1:00pm. A graveside memorial service will immediately follow at the Myers Cemetery on Plum Run with Tom Myers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Barbara’s Nursing Home in Monongah. As we continue to recognize attending services during the COVID-19 situation may not be in the best interest for some, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
