Sonny Ray Moran, age 62 of Mannington, WV passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. He was born December 28, 1963 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Harold Lee Moran and Iris Louise Bradley Moran.
He is survived by his sister Lisa Dillon and her husband David, his nephew Adam Dillon of Enterprise and Brandon and Danielle Dillon of Farmington, his great-niece Remington, great-nephew Hunter and his great-niece Reagan Dillon, all of Enterprise. Sonny is also survived by his aunt Barbara and uncle Gary Hook, his uncle Buck and aunt Marlise Bradley, his uncle Sonny and aunt Kathy Bradley, and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his grandparents Delbert and Marie Moran, and Ray and Bessie Bradley, and one brother James Neil “Jimmy” Moran.
Sonny was a 1982 graduate of North Marion High School and worked as the Assistant Manager at the Dollar Store in Mannington for 15 years. He was a kind and loving soul to everyone he met. Sonny was also an animal lover.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 2-7:00pm. There will be no funeral services at the conclusion of the visitation as cremation will follow as his final method of disposition.
