Steven A. Torman, age 69 of Mannington, WV passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1955 at Wileyville, WV, a son of the late Arthur Torman and Ruth Torman.
Steve is survived by his brother, Butch (Penny) Torman of Wileyville, his step-children, Kathy Whitecotton of Mannington, Bruce (Jenny) Hinerman of Fairview and Scott (Sam) Hinerman of Earnshaw, grandchildren Jessica and Captain Weekly, Thomas (Rhonda) Whitecotton, Brenna Hinerman, Angela (Kelsea) Hinerman, Scottie Hinerman, Shannon (Amanda) Hinerman, Eric Hinerman, and Cody Hinerman, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild with whom he loved very much, and a close nephew that resided with him, Gerald Miller.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sisters Diane Blake and his significant other Karen Sue Hinerman who died Sept. 15, 2021.
Steve was a member of the Marion County Police Reserves and was a former President of the JoAnn Sportsman Club in Rachel where he enjoyed going fishing as well as going hunting.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Friday October 24, 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Harmony Cemetery in Burton.
