Susan Lee

Susan Kay Lee, age 83 of Mannington, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her nephew’s house surrounded by her family. Susan was born on October 25, 1936 in Metz, WV, the daughter of the late Edgar and Georgia Franklin Snyder. In 1961, she married Jerry Lee in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2019. Susan was preceded in death by her two sisters, Eleanore Hayes and Winnie Leary. She is survived by her two children, Jacob Lee of Mannington, WV and Tania Fellows and grandchildren, Josh and Sophia of Las Vegas, NV; her remaining 90 year old brother, Charles Snyder of Metz; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and several friends, especially her dearest friend Kitty. Susan worked as a dental hygienist for numerous doctors throughout her career as she and Jerry traveled and lived in several different states throughout their marriage before retiring in Mannington, WV. She loved being with her family and going shopping. She was a Methodist by faith having attended Bee Gum and several other churches in the surrounding area. Susan instilled her values into her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services as cremation was chosen as the final method of disposition. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home on behalf of Susan to help the family with expenses.
