Terry Lee Sponaugle, Sr. 61, of Mannington,was called to rest on June 8, 2018 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Lorain, OH on September 28, 1956, a son of the late Joe Sponaugle and Pauline Sponaugle.
Terry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol Stover Sponaugle, one son T.J. Sponaugle and wife Cindy, one daughter Amber Sponaugle and life partner Erica Barrett, four grandchildren, Savannah Sponaugle, Travis Sponaugle, Chelby Yost-Sponaugle and Cayden Sponaugle, his twin brother Jerry Sponaugle and one sister Linda Darlene Myers and husband Chuck.
In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his son Travis Michael Sponaugle and one brother Ronnie Sponaugle.
Terry was employed Calfrac Well Services before he became ill. He was a very avid outdoorsman who enjoyed sharing with his kids and grandkids the art of being a sportsman. He was always happy to lend a helping hand when needed.
Terry was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Baltimore, MD. He was a Catholic by faith. He is deeply missed by family and friends.
Family and friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 2-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 am with Mike Cyphers officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmington.
