Thomas Lynn "Tom" Starsick

A Man who loved the woods, the water, and a cold beer, Thomas Lynn “Tom” Starsick, 75, of Mannington, passed away at home on Sunday, May 17, 2026. He was born in Fairmont, a son of the late Jack and Geraldine Masters Starsick.

Tom is survived by his wife, Charlotte Marie “Shike” Starsick, three sons, William Thomas “Tommy” (Jennifer) Starsick, John Lee Starsick, Nathanial Lynn Starsick, two step-children, John (Dollie) Bock, Mary (Donald) Lowe, his grandchildren, Cody, Danielle, Colours, Ethan, Michael, Paige (Baby Cakes), one great-granddaughter Oakley Bock, four brothers, Jack (Judy) Starsick, Terry (Vickie) Starsick, Mark (Cara) Starsick and Bobby Starsick.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son David Starsick, brothers Pat and Louis Starsick.

Tom was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired coal miner, having worked at the Grant Town Mine. Tom could often be found outdoors fishing, hunting or working around his house with a beer in his hand. He loved his grandchildren and was their biggest supporter.

Family will receive friends at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. In keeping with Tom’s wishes, cremation will take place following the visitation.
