
Thomas Robert “Tom” Parrish, age 75 of Katy, WV passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Mannington, WV on July 26, 1947, the son of the late Ernest Robert Parrish and Kathryn Rose George Parrish.
Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alma Frances Hoy Parrish, his four children, Mike (Becky) Parrish of Rachel, Lori (Greg) Hill of Katy, Alicia (Mike) Keener of St. Augustine, FL, and Ryan (Marcy) Price of Myrtle Beach, SC, his grandchildren, Quinton (Makayla) Hill, Micah Parrish and fiancé Savannah Varner, Leah Parrish and fiancé Austin Conaway, Hannah Hill and fiancé Ryne Harris, Drew Keener and Emily Keener, several nieces and nephews, and his caregiver for the past ten years, Amber Burton of Pricetown who the family appreciated very much!
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Martin, and a brother-in-law, Chuck Martin.
Tom was a Mannington High School Graduate Class of 1965. He worked for and retired from Southern Ohio/Peabody Coal Company, Martinka Mine, with 30 years of service. He also drove CDL Trucking for various companies. Tom was a United States Veteran having served from 1965-1968 in the Army. He was a member of the High St. Methodist Church in Mannington. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to flea markets and going camping.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 2-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 23, 2023 beginning 12:00pm with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, WV.
