Wayne Junior Quickle

Wayne Junior Quickle, age 69 of Fairmont, WV passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Morgantown Health and Rehabilitation. He was born March 8, 1949 at Gassaway, WV, son of the late Graden Orval Quickle and Ruth Johnson Quickle.

He is survived by three siblings, Hollis Jean and Willie Kersten III of Ashdown, Arkansas, Larry Dean and Patricia Quickle of PA, and Connie Lee Murray of Fairmont; several nieces and nephews, David Lee Gooden, Teresa Lynn Coburn, Alisha Yanero, Audry Joyner, Jessica Claybrook, Larry Quickle Jr., Nickey Paul Quickle, Patrick Brett Quickle; his lifelong best friends, Jewelletta Brooks and her children Chalie Marie Long and his little buddy Kyzer Lane Radcliff.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Lee Quickle.

Wayne was a kind hearted person who loved to help people and was a patient man. When he lived in Pennsylvania, he worked in the Steel Mill. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing cards, pool and chess and fishing with Connie at the Rachel Dam. He called his sister Jean in Arkansas very frequently and taught his little buddy Kyzer to play baseball.

There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services. Full Military Rites will be conducted by the United States Army and the Marion County Veterans Council at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton.
