Wilda Rose Watson Terwilliger, 84 of Farmington, WV passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her residence.  She was born February 12, 1928 in Mohan’s Run, Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Ernie Watson and Maude Stevens Watson.

She is survived by 11 children, Cathy Silverstro of Trenton, NJ, Robert Terwilliger of Farmington, Gary Terwilliger and partner Joanne of Trenton, NJ, Brad Terwilliger and wife Corey of Fairmont, Mike Terwilliger and wife Barb of Bridgeport, Margie Byrd and husband Kevin of Salem, Joyce Baker and fiancée Rick Anderson of Barrackville, Joe Terwilliger of Farmington, Kelly Kallel and husband Robert of Lost Creek, Kevin Terwilliger and wife Whitney of Trenton, NJ, Shane Terwilliger and wife Tara of Guyton, GA; 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Kennedy of Weirton, WV; 2 brothers, William C. Watson of Mannington and George O. Watson of Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Terwilliger, who died on May 31, 1973; two daughters, Patricia Terwilliger and Sharon Newman; grandchildren, GJ Newman, Anthony Silverstro; 4 sisters, Clara Watson, Betty Lecompte, Emma Stanley and Dorothy Corbin.

Rose was a homemaker.  She enjoyed her family very much.  She attended the First Christian Church in Mannington in her early years.  She graduated from Mannington High School, Class of 1947.

The family would like to thank Michelle Hall, Dr. Frank and staff at the Wound Center in Fairmont, Hospice of Marion County, MVA, Home Health and family services.  A special thanks to Brenda Elliot Spencer.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 1-3:00pm with a memorial service will taking place at 3:00pm with Pastor Jerry Dooley officiating.  Additional visitation will take place after the service from 6-8:00pm.  Mrs. Terwilliger will be laid to rest by her husband, with graveside services at the convenience of the family, at Greenwood Cemetery in Trenton, New Jersey.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, Diabetes and Blind Association.
