My sincerest condolences to the Ice family. Genevieve was such a wonderful and kind person. Her amazing cooking skills added a few extra pounds to the students and faculty at Barrackville High, Middle and Elementary schools. I have so many memories of beginning my school day in the cafeteria listening to Genevieve laugh while I was drooling over the fantastic foods she was fixing for that day. She was so kind and caring to the many students and faculty who were so fortunate to know her. Truly an angel walking among us!

I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Genevieve. She was a wonderful neighbor, and was like another mother while we were in school serving as a homeroom mother. I will always hold a special memory for her being so good to mom in her later years and checking in on her. Thinking of you all in this time of loss. Ron Wilson

Please pass my message on to Phil Ice, Genevieve's son.
First of all let me extend my sincere condolences to you and your family. As frater #179 of Fairmont State I was on the contact list that Vince Libonati sent notices to -- but even more that that I am of the Toothman line--my maternal grandmother being Caroline Jane "Jennie" Toothman Jones of Mannington--so you and I are biologically related, as well.
Whenever I run across a Toothman I always check my genealogy files for a connection, and I found that I have very limited information on Herbert and Hazel but nothing further down. When you see fit to do so I would really appreciate your contacting me so that I may update that family line. Thank you.
To Phil and all the family,
We are very sorry to hear about your loss in the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may you cherish the memories that you have as sharing time with your mother throughout your life. May God Bless her and may she rest in peace.
