Howard Clark Wright, age 64, of Mannington, WV passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 3, 1953 at Fairmont, WV, a son of Charles Howard Wright and Ruby May Bradley Wright. She is survived by his 3 children, Ashley Wright Cokeley and husband Jerry Joseph of Fairmont, Carolyn Wright of Mannington and Charlie Wright and wife Lisa of Morgantown; a former wife, Aletha Hayes-Wright of Fairmont; 2 grandchildren, Mikayla and Ethan Wright; a brother, Charlie Wright of Wetzel County; 2 sisters, Sara Jane Phillips of Clarksburg and Mary Jo of Indiana; several nieces and nephews; also great friends Brad Powell, Becky Smith, and Terri Gamble and husband Scott. Howard was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed his children, taking care of his dog, cooking and raising a garden. The family would like to thank the Marion County EMS and those that did what they could to help him. Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. in Mannington on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 11am-1pm with funeral services beginning at 1pm with Pastor Lee Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at the Whetstone Cemetery where Full Military Rites will be accorded by the United States Army and the Marion County Veterans Council.
