James “Jim” Nelson Reynolds, age 70, of Mannington, WV passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Pierpont Center at Fairmont Campus. He was born April 14, 1946 in Tucker Fork-Joetown, WV, a son of the late Richard Scott Reynolds and Edna Marie Rice Reynolds.
He is survived by a sister, Linda Cain of Mannington, and a brother, Bryce Reynolds and wife Sheri of Plum Run; two half-brothers, Woody Reynolds of Florida and William Reynolds and wife Michelle of Littleton, WV; one grandson, Matthew Reynolds; 6 nieces and nephews, Shawn Cain, Zach Reynolds, Matthew (Matty) Reynolds, Raegen Reynolds, Reese Reynolds and Rosalie Reynolds.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a son, Richard “Ricky” Burns Reynolds, and two brothers who died in infancy, Richard Scott Reynolds II and Richard Samuel Reynolds; and a brother in law, David Cain.
Jim attended the Nazarene Church in Mannington. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, cars and mechanical work, and woodworking. He worked at the Fisher’s Foundry in Hutchinson.
At Jim’s request, there will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services as cremation has been chosen for final disposition. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being cared for by Masters Funeral Home in Mannington.
