Maronee Gail Jones, age 61 of Fairmont, WV passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born May 1, 1957 at Clarksburg, WV a daughter of the late Bill David Jones and Virginia Catherine Toothman Jones.
She is survived by two sisters, Lisa and David F. Lucas II of Grafton, WV and Carol Jones of Fairmont; three favorite nephews, Adam F. Lucas of Grafton, David E. and Becky Campbell of Fairmont, and Jason D. and Julia Lucas and family of Grafton; a great nephew, Wade E. Campbell of Fairmont; a family friend, Rich Myers of Hamlin, PA.
Maronee was a 1976 graduate of Barrackville High School. She was a 35 year employee at Fashion Bug at the Middletown Mall and upon its closing, she worked at and was currently employed at Big Lots. She was an avid TV watcher and enjoyed cooking, shopping and her dogs which included her special friend “Duffy”.
The family would like to express Thanks to the staff at Big Lots for their kindness and friendship shown to Maronee while employed there.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., in Mannington on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 1-4:00pm with a funeral services beginning at 4pm in the funeral home with Pastor Dave Knotts officiating.
