Nancy Jo Garcia, age 77, of Mannington, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. She was born August 15, 1941 at Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Lester Wilbert Brown and Cleo Rachel Hayes Brown.
Nancy is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Garcia of Mannington, with whom she was married to for 28 years; a daughter, Misty Rachelle Barr and husband Jason of Mannington; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Rush, Olivia Rush and Nacoma Barr, all of Mannington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Longstreth; her paternal grandmother, Oley Brown, maternal grandparents, Harry and Stella Fetty; and one brother, Robert Neil “Pete” Brown.
Nancy was formerly employed at Westinghouse (Phillips Lighting) and the Plantation Restaurant. She enjoyed sports watching baseball and football games. She loved her grandkids.
Family and friends will be received at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5-9:00pm.
